Into the world of painful beauty

Assalamualaikum and hi, guys. I'm Raihan Afifah binti Mohd Nor, from DEC 5A, Diploma in English Communication in KPMIM. This blog is solely for academic purpose, written for the course Digital & Mobile Communication (ITE 3563). Under the topic 'Unique', I've chosen to write based on my own topic, 'Beauty is pain'. As what the title brings with it, I'm going to share with you all various stories about beauty, and the pain that comes with it, in different parts of the world.

The objectives of this blog are:

• To expose you to the unique yet painful beauty rituals and practice in different cultures around the world
• To let you discover the world that defines beauty differently compared to yours
• To inform the effects brought by some of the beauty practice on people's lives

They say, "Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholders", so, bear in mind that your perception of beauty might differ from the ones portrayed in my entries.
